If you want cut calorie, simple your beverages intake. Why? Because recently study found that Americans get approximately 21% of their calories from beverages. It can explain that why so many dieters cut their food intake, but the calorie in their body still high. They overlook their liquid calories intake which contain large amount of calorie. Liquid calories from alcohol, smoothies, coffee with cream and sugar, sweetened juices, teas, and sodas can really contribute to weight gain. If you want weight loss, I suggest you limit those liquid calories intake.

Dieting Lead to Binge Eat

Recently a new study about dieting lead to binge eat begin in University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Dr. Dianne Neumark-Sztainer found that undergraduate had gained 0.69 more body mass index (BMI) points than their non-dieting classmates. It’s a danger sign that dieting can lead to binge eat. The binge eat lead to overweight.

Why dieting lead to binge eat? When you go on dieting. You usually reduce the meal times, for example skip breakfast. When you haven’t eat food for long time, your brain send you a signal that you are hunger. You cannot control your food craving, so you have to binge eat. The best ways stop binge eat is eat 5-6 times per days, but limit each meal food intake.

Eliminate Trans Fat From your Diet

There are four kinds of fats: monounsaturated fat, polyunsaturated fat, saturated fat, and trans fat. Research has found that trans fats have been linked to multiple health issues including elevated coronary heart disease risk and lowering HDL levels, higher abdominal fat levels and even infertility.

Now we know trans fat is bad for our health, how to eliminate trans fat from our diet. If you want to eliminate the trans fat from your diet, you should eliminate trans fat food intake.

So, what are foods trans fat food? Baked food for example cookie is full of trans fat, we should stop eat it.

Health Fast Food not Health

As obesity disease climb in the recently years, people prefer choose a health food than a fast food. So the fast food companies such as McDonald adjust their market strategy to attract more consumer. They added some health foods such as Yogurt, salad, veggie burger in their fast food and brag that their food is health through evil media.

But the fact is their health fast food have the same effect damage our body. Although they added Yogurt, salad, veggie burger in their fast food, they cannot change fast food essence that full of high cholesterol, high fat and high calorie. If we continue eat those health fast food, we also weight gain like before.

Almonds Help Prevent LDL Cholesterol

Nowdays the high cholesterol food flooded supermarket. We cannot distinguish what food is high cholesterol and what is low cholesterol food. We just know fruit and vegetable load good nutrition, but contain low cholesterol amount. The meat such as pork loads high fat and high cholesterol amount. Do you know nuts not only contain low cholesterol amount but also help prevent LDL cholesterol, such as almonds. A 2005 Tufts University study found that substances in almond skins help prevent LDL cholesterol from being oxidized. Eating more almond skins, you will lower the risk of heart disease and protect lining of blood vessels.

Deep-fried Food and Overweight

Overweight is a serious problem. When people found themself is already overweight, they didn’t why. “I didn’t eat many food, why I get overweight.” There are many conditions can cause overweight, somebody limit their daily food intake, somebody work out more. Is it the food amount cause overweight? No! It’s the fat and calories amount.

I think the worst food for weight loss is deep-fried food. They’re loaded with calories and fat, which often includes nasty trans fats.

Thirst and Hunger Similar Brain Signals

Dieters usually look for something to eat when they feel hunger. But do you know thirst and hunger can send off similar signals from your brain. Sometimes when we feel hungry it’s actually that we’re thirsty. Often our hunger signals are confused with our thirst signals. So when we feel thirst, but we eat more food. We misunderstand the signals from our brain, so we feel hunger more and more, we have to overeat. Finally we are overweight.

How to deal with the confused brain signals about thirst and hungry. My suggesting is drink water first when you feel hunger. After we have drank a glass of water, you feel hunger more. Then you can eat some foods,such as apple and other fruits.
