I hate mindless eating, because the mindless eating usually mess up my diet. But I cannot stop mindless eating when I’m watching TV at home. I need to eat something, so I always put a lot of foods into my mouth until I turn off the tv. It’s really terrible, when I realize it, I already gained weight.

Is there any method to stop mindless eating? I don’t think so. But I find a secret to stop gain weight when I’m watching TV. I eat some fruits and green vegetables instead of fast foods and Junk foods when I’m watching TV. Although I’ve ate too much foods, but those foods are low calorie foods.

Eat less foods or eat more foods when you’re dieting. I prefer eat more foods when I’m on a diet. Why? I know many dietitians suggest dieters reduce their food intakes, but I encourage you eat more foods. Because eating less usually cause overfeeding. That’s why many dieters are failure on diet. They eat too much fast foods and junk foods when they are hungry, why they are hungry? The answer is they are on strict diet.

So I suggest dieters eating more foods instead of eating less foods. It can prevent overfeeding at least. Now the problem is what food you should eat. I think you should eat fruit and vegetable, these are high fiber foods. Even if you eat many fiber foods, You won’t gain much fat, because fruit and vegetable are less carb, less calorie and less fat.
